How long have you been working at Infracom?

“In just over a month I will have been working at Infracom for 8 years.”

What is your role?

“I started at Infracom as an IT Specialist and after 3.5 years I moved to the Sales team as Account Manager. I also see my technical background as a nice addition in my current role.”

What do you do in a week?

“Like my colleague Bram, I am daily engaged in finding the most suitable solution for a customer or prospect. This includes introductory, inventory and advisory meetings with customers and prospects. This is often followed by consultation with my ICT colleagues to come up with a quote for the customer. The quotes consist of proposals for solutions for internet, telephony, system management, network management and our Cloud solutions. After a quote I maintain contact with the customer/prospect to come to an assignment and ensure the transfer to my colleagues, so they can properly deliver the ICT solutions. Afterwards I come back to the customer to evaluate the assignment and manage the relationship.”

At which branch do you work?

“I mainly work from home since corona. This is perfectly doable with our solutions. And occasionally I can be found in Zwolle. At our office there is enough space to meet with a customer and comply with the measures.”

What is fun about working at Infracom?

“I like that we have a lot of freedom in the way of working and that we can continue to develop ourselves. The atmosphere is also good and I hope that after corona in our new building we can experience more of this (yes that is news, we are moving at the end of this year)!”

What is the best part of your job?

“My own work and making a happy customer.”

Is ICT your passion?

“Yes definitely! From an early age I have been immersed in it, because my father started an ICT company from home when I was 3. Although in high school and my first education I doubted whether I wanted to work in ICT myself.”

Which education did you do?

"I did a multimedia education in Enschede. Then at my previous job I did a BBL MBO System Management course at Deltion in Zwolle.”

How do you stay up to date with developments in your field?

“I regularly read newsletters and for example Tweakers. We also receive training at Infracom.”

What do you do in your free time?

“Currently mainly enjoying as much as possible until our first child arrives. And preparing the last things.”

“Furthermore I regularly watch football or a series with a good glass of whisky or a beer. Occasionally sports are also very necessary. And I enjoy being with my girlfriend, friends and family to do fun things, such as going out for dinner or sailing.”

Where do you live?

“I have been living in Kampen again for a year now.”

Are you married, do you have children?

“Not at the moment. I did propose to my girlfriend a while ago, but we haven’t married yet. We will soon have our first child. And we already have a puppy at home, Paco.”

Do you want to share something so the reader gets to know you better?

“I am also crazy about cars, especially Porsche. The dream is to own one someday. Furthermore I love sociability and I am always up for a chat.”
