A Website Starts with a Domain Name
A domain name is a unique web address that you use as your website URL and also as part of your email address. The first step toward a (new) website is registering a domain name. For businesses, the domain name is often the same as the company name, making it easy for (potential) customers to find you.
Registering a Domain Name with Infracom
Domain names usually consist of two parts, separated by a dot: the part to the left of the dot is the domain name, and the part to the right is the extension, such as '.com', '.org', or '.net'. The extension is also called a top-level domain (TLD).
In addition to well-known extensions like '.nl' and '.com', more new domain extensions are continually being introduced. We can assist you with these domains as well. Interested in a '.ceo', '.consulting', or '.yachts' website, for example? We’re happy to help!
