Infracom proves: women make the difference in IT
14 October 2025You still often read that there is a lack of diversity in IT companies and that the number of women remains limited, especially in leadership positions. At Infracom it is different, we have a woman at the top and almost ¼ of the employees are women.
Real ICT experts
It often happens that when people call or email a female colleague, they assume she has no knowledge of ICT, but nothing could be further from the truth. At Infracom, all the women have ICT knowledge. Together they know all the ins and outs about, among others, Domains, DNS management, ICT law, ICT project management, Web and software development & consulting, VoIP & IT management. We would like to introduce them to you.
Nikita
During her computer science studies, Nikita already worked at Infracom, and she still does. In 2020, Nikita temporarily took over the project management tasks of her sister Theresia, who was on maternity leave at the time.
She now works 3 days as a software developer on two large projects and 2 half days on administration. This means she updates the admin queue in our ticketing system and performs general checks on various clients and products. For example, regularly checking MS365 licenses to see if what we purchase and what is technically active still matches what we invoice.
Theresia
Our director-owner Theresia has been working for Infracom for more than 12 years. As a master of law with Internet and ICT as a specialization, combined with her 12 years of experience in solving technical issues, Theresia has an answer to everything. She is responsible for the pillars Internet, Cloud, System Management and Telecom and, with her human approach, knows how to get the best out of everyone.
Elise
Elise may have the most roles of anyone. In addition to being responsible for domain registrations, she is the first point of contact for customers, both physically at the office in Zwolle and by phone when calling the general number. Whenever something needs to be arranged, whether it is decorating the building, snacks and drinks at knowledge sessions, or organizing a surprise anniversary, she always arranges everything down to the last detail.
Elise also takes care of contact with leasing companies, contact with our landlords, baby gifts for colleagues, and not to forget, Elise also works in administration.
Hyejung
Hyejung has been a programmer in our permanent development team for years. An experienced developer who holds her own among her male colleagues in Emmen. She develops websites and web applications of all kinds and does not shy away from challenging tickets.
Monique
Checking, booking and paying all purchase invoices, subscription invoices, project and hardware invoicing, all payments and debtor management are some of Monique’s tasks. In addition, she purchases hardware and licenses and schedules projects with the ICT specialists. Together with Theresia, she ensures that what the sales colleagues have sold is prepared as much as possible so that the ICT specialist has everything at hand to deliver quickly.
Sonja

Then it is best to contact Sonja to discuss the possibilities. Sonja has been working for Infracom for more than 15 years and is very curious about the stories and wishes of our customers. In addition to her sales, Sonja takes care of marketing and communication for Infracom. The newsletter, the blogs, the letters about changes in services, organizing knowledge sessions, the online helpdesk page and maintaining the website.
