"Some friends call me Boukje, for my sisters I am their big brother Bouk. For other friends it's always a party and I'm called Fissa. In short, something for everyone."

"I was born and raised in Zwollywood."

"I am almost 28 years young."

How long have you been working at Infracom?

"Since early 2020."

What is your role?

"As an IT specialist I try to keep the systems of Infracom and its customers secure. I also help customers who want to make changes, run into issues or need advice on how to approach something."

What do you do in a week?

"My week consists of answering questions from customers and often also from colleagues. Occasionally I also visit customers, but usually I am a constant factor at the support desk. At the moment I am also helping to train a new colleague and I try to come up with new systems/concepts/security improvements during quiet moments."

At which branch do you work?

"Branch Zwolle."

What is fun about working at Infracom?

"At Infracom you have a lot of freedom because it is a relatively small provider that offers many services. So there are many directions you can go and if you come up with a good idea you can implement it yourself (with support from your colleagues)."

What is the best part of your job?

"The freedom and the variety. Many different systems and services also mean many different questions."

Is ICT your passion?

"I once said that I didn't want to make IT my job, because it was my hobby. As you can see, I changed my mind."

Which education did you do?

"I started in the financial world. After a bachelor in business economics. In that respect I did not do a specific IT education."

How do you stay up to date with developments in your field?

"There are a number of open source packages and programs where I follow the news closely."

What do you do in your free time?

"In my free time I am always up for a (card/computer/board) game or for a sporting activity."

Where do you live?

"I live in beautiful Zwolle!"

"I am unmarried and have no children."
