Which education did you follow?

"I graduated as a business administrator at the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht."

Why did you start working in the ICT sector?

"I kind of rolled into it, I always had an affinity with ICT but when I had just graduated work was not easy to find so I was actually lucky to be able to start at Unit4. From that moment the sector never let me go."

How long have you been working at Infracom and what are your tasks?

"I have been working at Infracom for over 7 years now. For over a year together with Theresia as ultimately responsible for the company, and within that division I am more on the external/commercial side. I still enjoy advising customers and potential customers about their environment, their software solution or other ICT-related matters and putting these solutions into practice. This way you stay connected with customers and see directly the added value of a well-functioning ICT solution."

What is fun about working at Infracom?

"The contact with my colleagues and with customers. In both cases it often involves long-term relationships and the fun part is seeing the development. In addition, with long-term customer relationships we can best immerse ourselves in a customer and realize the most suitable ICT solution for him or her and thus contribute to the success of our customers."

How do you stay up to date with developments in your field?

"Through colleagues and various online sources. Especially colleagues can share many details that are new to me, but this way I learn something new every day."

Where do you live?

"We live in Steenwijkerwold, near Friesland but still just in Overijssel."

Are you married, do you have children?

"I am married to Theresia and we have three children together."

What do you do in your free time?

"I enjoy doing DIY in and around the house, but also on a hobby convertible and motorcycles, and when that is done I also enjoy driving them of course."

"My real age, because everyone always estimates me 10 years younger. I am 33."
