Various types of internet connections
14 June 2022As an Internet Service Provider we can deliver various fast and reliable internet connections and our specialists are available 24/7 for our customers. Do you know the difference between ADSL, VDSL, Fiber, IP-VPN and managed firewall (Mpix), and which connection best suits your organization?
ADSL
- ADSL is an internet connection that uses the copper infrastructure
- Almost every address in the Netherlands is connected and the network is very reliable
- Due to the low costs you can activate multiple connections side by side for all your different services (email, telephony, alarm, pin)
- 20 Mbps download speed
VDSL
- Successor of ADSL
- Download up to 400 Mbps
- Speed depends on the distance from your address to the district exchange
- Low costs compared to fiber
- Can be used as backup alongside fiber connection
Viprinet
When only ADSL is available as an internet connection and thus the maximum speed is limited, we can help with Viprinet hardware to bundle multiple connections and use them as one connection
Fiber
- Speeds up to 1000Mbps (download and upload equal)
- Best way to run multiple services over the connection (working in the Cloud, backup etc.)
- Reserved bandwidth
- (Almost) always available
Dark Fiber
This is a direct fiber connection between two locations with speeds up to 1000Mbps!
Radio link
- This internet connection is a good alternative when wired internet is not possible
- Also a good solution as backup internet connection
