Is your application well secured?
24 January 2025We could technically explain what HTTPS stands for and start talking about HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure…, but we prefer to keep it simple by saying that it is a method that ensures that data sent over the internet remains secure. For websites, HTTPS has now become the standard, but what about web applications? Is the incoming and outgoing traffic of your online application well secured? This is very important, especially now that applications are often connected to AI services.
Safety first
At Infracom we ensure that all our applications use HTTPS. Whether it concerns developing new applications or connecting existing ones via APIs, security comes first. Our applications are stored in a Private Cloud at one of our data center locations in the Netherlands. For many SMEs, this can also be a public Cloud environment, such as those of Microsoft, Amazon or Google. But beware: it is often thought that the public Cloud environment takes care of everything, but this is certainly not always the case!
