Ticketing system for Festival de Gouden Pijl
Since 1976, De Gouden Pijl has been the annual cycling festival, and last summer marked its 43rd edition. De Gouden Pijl in Emmen is a well-known event in the cycling world, not just in Emmen but throughout the Netherlands. This year, we enjoyed performances by, among others, Mathieu van der Poel, Niki Terpstra, Fabio Jakobsen, and Dylan Groenewegen! In addition to the cycling race, there are various stages in the center of Emmen for everyone to enjoy.
Digital Invitation Ticket
Festival de Gouden Pijl is largely made possible by sponsors. That is why the Peter van Dijk VIP Village exists: to provide sponsors and their relations with food and drinks, and above all, to offer a great spot with a view of the start/finish line.
Sponsors receive a digital invitation ticket that grants them access to the VIP Village. Depending on the sponsorship deal, they may also invite multiple relations to the village, allowing them to enjoy an unforgettable day as well.
Ticket Scanning
By showing the invitation at the entrance, the sponsor receives a wristband and can freely enter and exit to also enjoy Festival de Gouden Pijl outside the village.
Sponsorship Infracom ICT
- We developed a ticketing system in which the organization of Festival de Gouden Pijl can enter the number of tickets each of its sponsors receives, along with the corresponding names and email addresses.
- The tickets are automatically generated with a unique code and then sent to the sponsor’s email address.
- Upon entry, the unique code is scanned and the VIP receives a wristband. The ticketing system tracks which tickets have been scanned to prevent reuse.
- After the event, the organization can see how many tickets were redeemed.
