Ticketing system for Festival de Gouden Pijl

Infracom is proud to be a sponsor of the Gouden Pijl in Emmen, one of the most iconic cycling classics in the Netherlands. But our involvement goes beyond a logo on a banner. We developed a custom ticketing system for the VIP village, ensuring that invited guests are welcomed smoothly and professionally. A great opportunity to show who we are: an IT partner that builds practical solutions and is rooted in the region.

Ticketing system for Festival de Gouden Pijl

Digital invitation ticket

Festival de Gouden Pijl is largely made possible by sponsors. That is why the Peter van Dijk VIP village exists: to provide sponsors and their guests with food and drinks, and above all, a beautiful place with a view of the start/finish line.

Sponsors receive a digital invitation ticket that grants them access to the VIP village. Depending on their sponsorship deal, they may also invite multiple relations to the village so they too can enjoy an unforgettable day.

Ticket scanning

By showing the invitation at the entrance, the QR code can be scanned via a mobile phone, after which the sponsor receives a wristband and can enter and exit freely to enjoy Festival de Gouden Pijl outside the village as well.

Infracom ICT Sponsorship

For the VIP village of the Gouden Pijl, we developed a ticketing system fully tailored to the specific wishes of the organization. Entrepreneurs invited as VIP guests receive an invitation with a QR code via this system, which is scanned at the entrance. No generic off‑the‑shelf solution, but software that does exactly what is needed:

  • We developed a ticketing system in which the organization can enter the number of tickets each sponsor receives, along with the corresponding names and email addresses.
  • The tickets are automatically generated, each with a unique code. These tickets are then sent to the sponsor’s email address.
  • Upon entry, the unique code is scanned via a mobile phone and the VIP receives a wristband. The ticketing system tracks which tickets have been scanned so they cannot be reused.
  • After the event, the organization can see how many tickets were redeemed.

The result? A pleasant guest experience for VIPs and less hassle for the organization behind the scenes.

Why do we build these kinds of solutions?

As an IT partner for SMEs, we know that standard software often does not fit real‑world processes. Entrepreneurs have specific workflows, specific needs and specific challenges. What works for one organization may be completely unsuitable for another.

That is exactly why Infracom develops custom software and practical digital tools. We look at what your organization needs and build a solution that is directly applicable. No unnecessary complexity, no endless and expensive implementation projects — just software that works and that your people understand.

The ticketing system for the Gouden Pijl is a great example. The organization had a clear need, and we translated it into a functional, user‑friendly application.
