NLtraining switches to Microsoft 365 with full control
For NLtraining, one of the largest language providers in the Netherlands, we managed the transition from a private cloud to Microsoft 365 (Public Cloud). This project was not only about a technical migration, but also about continuity, security and ease of use for employees across locations throughout the country.
With a new Microsoft 365 environment, central policy settings via SuperVision, configured workplaces and a carefully guided migration, we created a future‑proof foundation.
The request
- A secure and manageable transition from a Private Cloud to Microsoft 365.
- A central way to efficiently manage policy settings and security guidelines across the tenant. (A tenant is the organisation’s own Microsoft 365 environment where users, data, applications and settings come together.)
- Deployment and management of approximately 195 laptops, desktops and thin clients with Windows 11 and the required software.
- A smooth migration of data and workplaces with minimal impact on end users across multiple locations in the Netherlands.
- Reliable support during and after go‑live so employees could continue working immediately.
Our solution
- We set up a new Microsoft 365 environment aligned with the organisation and its daily operations.
- With SuperVision, we made tenant management more structured and consistent, enabling easier central policy management.
- We created a clear policy structure with must‑haves, should‑haves and nice‑to‑haves for security, MFA and user settings.
- We deployed and managed around 195 workplaces with Windows 11 and all required software, ready for use across multiple locations.
- We migrated the data to Microsoft 365 and provided direct support after go‑live to help users quickly.
Result
This project was special because we used SuperVision on a large scale. This gave NLtraining a strong management foundation. The migration went smoothly and the number of support questions remained manageable thanks to good preparation, clear communication and practical user guides.
